Using ProOnGo with Remember the Milk

At ProOnGo, we love productivity which is why we love Remember the Milk.  For those who don’t know, the site is a great way to track your TODO lists–that is what most people use it for.  But, did you know that you can also track your expenses by using ProOnGo Expense with Remember the Milk?  Give it a try–here’s how I do it:

  1. Capture an Expense by taking picture of a receipt with ProOnGo (Menu -> New Expense)
  2. E-mail the expense to my boss for reimbursement (Menu -> PDF Report -> Email)
  3. HERE IS THE TRICK: On the e-mail, BCC your Remember the Milk account.

If you don’t know how to e-mail Remember the Milk, click here to learn how.  You can even have the e-mail tagged automatically and set due dates, priority, etc.

Now you have an expense tracked in Remember the Milk.  I personally tag the Remember the Milk task with ‘expensed’ and check my expensed category occasionally to make sure I get my money back!

Do you have any ideas for other systems we can integrate with?  With our data available in CSV, Excel, PDF, and Quickbooks (coming soon) there are many ways you can now keep track of your receipts, and most importantly, remember to have your company reimburse you for your expenses!

Drop us a line at support@proongo.com with your ideas of other systems and applications that we should integrate with.

Cool idea! You can also have remember the milk tweet you on the day that you are supposed to get reimbursed, so that you remember to check your paycheck or direct deposit to make sure you are getting reimbursed for everything.

Nice, thanks! Yeah, once ProOnGo has done the hard part of storing the receipt digitally, getting reimbursed should be much easier. Please post here if there is anything else we can do to help!
